The world promotes its own and celebrates superfluity and vanity . The world celebrates people based on what they have accomplished , what they possess , and how they look . The right skin color , the perfect body , or a good talent will get you to the top of the worlds platforms . And if you have wealth , nice possessions , ect. then you are a special person in this world . But the kingdom of God doesnt work this way . We are not judged by God for what we possess , what we accomplish , or how we look . We are not put on pedestals by God because we have nice things or because we have talent . Our Godly identity rest on the fact that He has accepted us and redeemed us from the curse . So , we are to live our lives humbly , avoiding vainglory and opportunity to be lifted up in the eyes of men .
