Praise the Lord FB Family!!!! today I am speaking to my FB Brothers!!!! Men with just about every sin that we commit we come to a point where our fleshly sinful nature says yes … sometimes screams yes … but our heart, infused with the Holy Spirit says no. Those nudges that say no come from God. We hear them every time. But sometimes we just run the “red light”. Men, take control of your sinful nature. Eliminate and avoid as many negative influences in your life as much as possible. But above all else … choose today to break the chains off of your life, Finally, the ultimate source for breaking chains is Jesus Himself: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). If you are struggling, give it to God. Pray and ask for forgiveness today and turn the opposite direction of your sin. It is possible. I struggle with many issues of sin in my life, and it ultimately has been my personal decision to sin no more . Although I do still fail at times, my choice has caused me to be resolute and stand my ground. I am able to resist and be successful more than at any point in my life up to this point. And with God’s help, I will continue down this road. God will help you break this chain if you ask Him and if you let Him. “FATHER God, thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. His amazing sacrifice is what makes it possible for us mere mortals to break the chains of sin in our lives. Lord, give us the strength to resist temptations. Give us the resolve to stand our ground and to go and sin no more. I know there will times when we fail, as all men sin and fall short of the Glory of God. I ask that you send the Holy Spirit to be our guide in this journey, to be our counselor when we are struggling to resist. When we do fail, Lord, I ask that you help us to receive your grace and mercy. It guilt and hopelessness that often causes us remain our sinful pattern. Thank you for this unending grace and mercy.
