Praises. Praises. Praises. Tanyon is improving. The moved him from ICU today and the nurses on D8 were happy to see him. The LP came back as clear so no fungus in his spinal or brain fluid. His eye exam was clear of fungus as well. He had an EKG today which was also clear. They were also checking his heart rhythm as one of the meds can affect his heart. He continues to be on the antibiotics and they will continue for the next 3 weeks. They have removed all his iv lines and everything is routed thru the PICC line in his arm. They continue to try to balance his potassium & electrolytes. Tonight he got a boosted dose of TPN & lipids tonight along with his night meds. Hes super excited to have his hands free again. Hopefully he will get some rest tonight since they have spaced out his meds he cant get comfortable enough to rest. I got back to the hospital tonight about the same time I normally get home from work. While they situated his new bed I got to hold him...wires and all. Those who know how he is when I get home from work, he was bouncing around and tangling the lines. Mommy said that I was going to have to put him down and he stop and layed his head on my shoulder.....62, 300+ lbs just melted. ..couldnt stop the tears from flowing. This little dude has taught me so much. He has blessed and brought our family so much closer to God and each other. We are truly blessed beyond measure and humbly honored that God gave us this special little boy. #blessedtobeblessed
