Prayer for Today...... Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! That calls me from a world of care, And bids me at my Father’s throne Make all my wants and wishes known. In seasons of distress and grief, My soul has often found relief And oft escaped the tempter’s snare By thy return, sweet hour of prayer! All Mighty and All Powerful God, the one who sits on the throne, the one who is from everlasting to everlasting, Holy is thy name. Father as i draw near to make my petition known I ask that thou mayest remove all doubt, i ask that you will wash me within and without, let self not be seen but Jesus Christ and Him be crucified. Thank you for keeping your promises for indeed thou art faithful. Thank you for spared lives, thank you for your covering for you have caused your Holy angels to keep the watch as we slept. As we face today, a new day with new trials, decision making in taking our stand for you, may we stand. Lord i place my computer in your capable hand, it is giving some trouble, it is an instrument that i have dedicated for your service, correct what is going wrong, nothing is too hard for you Lord. Father as we go through our varying crucibles, circumstances may arise Lord where our trust in you is questioned let it not be that our faith will shrink beneath the chastening rod but may we lean upon you Lord for you care for us, may we continue to hold to that which we believe, help us then to never seize the opportunity when we the victories are won to give you the Honour and the Glory. Help us to live lives to reflect you as we await your Glorious appearance, so that they would know, we serve a Mighty God, we serve a big God, a God who is not dead, a God who will reign forever more, so empty us one more time and fill us up with your sweet Holy Spirit, may we keep hope alive as we look forward to that day when you shall come to take us up to Mount Zion, thank you for hearing and answering our prayer for we ask in no other name but Jesuss name, let your will be done.... amen.~Angella Thompson
