Prayer for Unity In The Body of Christ - Walk In Oneness, One Body, One Spirit, One Hope Ephesians 4:4 - 6 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Our Heavenly Father, We come before You today on bended knee praising You because You are Elohim or our Creator, Preserver, Awe-Inspiring, Mighty and Strong God. You created and preserve all things for Your glory. You are the Awesome God and there is none like You. You are Mighty and Strong as You go forth fighting our battles for us and You are always the victor. Father we could praise You for all eternity and that still would not be enough to acknowledge who You are and for this we give You praise. Father, we come to You asking You to help us to walk in oneness in the Body of Christ. There is only one universal Body of Christ and we ask You to help us to put away the different denominations within the Body and to come together as one believing and practicing all of the things in the Word of God. Teach us not to choose what we like and dont like and only teach those things, but to believe and teach all things as You have given them to us. Father, help us to be led by the Holy Spirit whom You have sent to give gifts unto men for the edification of the Body of Christ. Even in the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost was sent into the earth, help us to allow Him to work in us so that we can come together in agreement in all things and there be no divisions in the Body. Father, we ask that You would enable us to walk in the one hope that You have called us into which is in Jesus Your Son. It is by Your Son Jesus that we have the hope of eternal life through Him. Help us to look to that blessed hope which is Your glorious appearing and that of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Father, we come before You today asking You to help us in all of these things so that we may do that which is well pleasing in Your sight, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
