“Present-day teachers need to play a more significant role in ensuring that the students we produce possess the attributes and qualities the nation desires.” says DEPUTY Director General of Education Dato’ Misrah Ibrahim recently visited the Sarawak Learning Centre where he met up with more than 300 teachers who were sponsored by the Education Ministry under the Program Pensiswazahan Guru (PPG). These teachers are enrolled in the Bachelor of Teaching programme.
