***Preserving Your Generation (Part 2)*** THE ACCURSED GENERATION (Part 2) Joshua 7:10-26. Achan, one of the Israelites stole some things from Jericho and hid them in his house. This brought the wrath of God upon the Israelites. When Joshua cried unto God, He told him that Israel had sinned. God further instructed Joshua as follows “…because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.”. Joshua was told to search and remove the accursed thing from Israel. It means that until the accursed thing is destroyed, Israel will continue to suffer setbacks. So many families are suffering because there is an accursed thing within. Some families were dedicated to idols, others were dedicated to rivers. The spirits from those idols and rivers will keep troubling them. Such families have to surrender to Jesus and be dedicated to Him. The accursed thing can be physical or spiritual. It may even be a covenant that has lingered for years and the family and generation will be enslaved to it. As far as a generation is bearing an accursed thing within, it remains an accursed generation and it will be difficult for such a generation to experience the glorious presence of God. When a generation cannot deal with the accursed thing and remove it, they will keep suffering like the Israelites in Jericho. The good news is that the power of God, through the blood of Jesus can wash away all the accursed things from your family and Generation. I therefore urge everyone reading this message to dedicate his/her family to God. Let there be a total renewal and deliverance from all accursed materials and pollutions. The accursed thing can hinder miracles. It can render a generation powerless and frustrated. This was what happened to the Israelites; they became powerless to the extent that they couldnt defeat a small city called Ai. If you must preserve your generation, then that generation must be free from accursed things. It must be free from sins and abomination. It must be dedicated to God. This is why it is very important to always dedicate new born babies in the house of God. Whoever you dedicate to immediately takes charge of the generation. So let us reconcile our families and generations to God. Remove the accursed thing and dedicate your family to God today. Make Jesus the head of your generation and everything will come into the right place. Purify your family and generation and cleanse it from all evil attachments. This is the way to preserve your generation.
