President Obama will announce his executive actions on immigration reform tomorrow night. If you support the President usurping the legislative power of Congress because you support his aims, then I expect you to equally support the next Republican president who does the same. Remember that every bit of power that accretes to the Executive Branch under Obama will be gleefully utilized and expanded by the next holder of that office, just as the tactics used by Harry Reid to shutdown the Senate will now be used by the new Republican leadership with equal enthusiasm.
