Press Release (cooper theft) On Friday, August 23, 2013, at approximately 0210 hrs the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department responded to an Entering without Breaking in progress at the Frontier Building located along Jacobson Drive in Rock Branch Industrial Park. Two Frontier Security Guards on site observed the larceny taking place and called 911. Upon Sheriff Deputy’s arrival, both suspects fled on foot. One suspect was immediately detained and the other suspect was later detained within the immediate area. Suspects name and charges are listed below. - Shawn Kevin Travis 2130 Miller Road Huntington, WV 25701 Pending charges: Entering without Breaking, Attempted Grand Larceny, Destruction of Property & Fleeing on Foot. Charles Allen Thompson 1308 Malcolm Lane Kenova, WV 25530 Pending charges: Entering without Breaking, Attempted Grand Larceny, and Destruction of Property. Bond was set at $25,000.00 by Magistrate Scot Lawrence. Released by Sheriff Steve Deweese
