Imagine over 90 masterpieces from the exquisite art collection of the Prince of Liechtenstein since 14th Century, travelling to Singapore for the first time! Exemplary of the highly cultivated choice in art, the exhibits range from paintings, sculptures, tapestries, decorative art objects, by renowned European masters such as Raphael, Rubens, ect., featuring High Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-classic and Biedermeier with a span of 500 years! Better still, alongside each of the artworks, there is an insightful "introduction " with regard to the artist, cultural setting, as well as the art per se, which makes great sense for a novice like me when it comes to appreciation!
