Pro-Pumpkin: Purest Pontification Pleading Pumpkin Purity & Popularity I am not the typical pumpkin fanatic as John Oliver so accurately describes! Those pseudo pumpkin lovers piss me off actually. Im a pumpkin purest. I can only eat organic pumpkins grown in the best soil composition due to Celiacs disease, intolerances and/or allergies to all pesticides. The soil must meet strict composition criteria, such as being 100% chemical free, using compost instead of fertilizer or manure to promote growth and few other requirements in same vein as the ones I listed. Once again it has to be this grade if soil because I am intolerant to fertilizers, pesticides and manure. So I am only able to enjoy my pumpkin creations during pumpkin season because I Ive never found a way to purchase organic pumpkins grown in the best soil out of season! I cant even enjoy the classic pumpkin spice latte---not gluten free! I have to put in a lot of effort for every pumpkin treat, whether sweet or savory, unlike the pseudo fanatics who just pick up the popular pumpkin creation of the moment to show off his or her pumpkin purchase as a status symbol and/or to communicate to other pseudo fanatics that he or she is a member of the club. This group of pseudo fanatics are actually considered to be rather high-brow because only those with expendable cash are able afford full participation in this new trend!
