Production Shift Supervisor wanted Based in Mid Kent, our manufacturing client is seeking to appoint a Production Shift Supervisor to join their team. Leading a team of production and assembly staff, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining production team performance levels, driving quality standards, people management and reducing wastage and lost time in the production process. You will be a key team member and will look for opportunities to improve output and performance of your team wherever possible. This is an evening position and the Hours of Work are Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Good communication skills are essential and a basic understanding of IT along with Maths and English of Grade C or above (or equivalent). Applicants need to be self-motivated, flexible and enjoy working in a team. In order to progress further, you must have Supervisory experience in a assembly/ production role along with a good understanding of the principles of injection moulding. You will also have proven ability to improve processes, lead staff and achieve quality and output standards.
