Professor Makau Mutua delivered the keynote address at a conference on Africa’s deteriorating relationship with the #ICC at The Hague last week. His talk was titled ‘Africans and the ICC: hypocrisy, impunity, and perversion’. Among other highlights from his speech, Mutua argued that the AU is satisfied with the ICC as long as it only prosecutes those Africans who are not heads of state. What’s your take, are Africans content with the ICC provided it does not indict African heads of state?
