Psalm 34, emphasis on 4 I will praise the Lord at all times: His praise will continually be in my mouth. My soul will make her boast in the Lord; the humble will hear and be glad. Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us lift up His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were encouraged; and they were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those that revere Him, and delivers them. Oh taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in Him. Oh revere the Lord, saints: there is no want in those that revere Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger: but those that seek the Lord will not lack any good thing. Come children, listen to me: I will teach you reverence of the Lord. What man desires a full, long life to see good? Keep from speaking evil and guile. Depart from practicing evil, but do good; seek and pursue peace. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The Lord is against those that do evil, to cut off others remembering them on earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken hearted; and saves the contrite in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers Him out of them all. He protects all His bones: not one of them is broken. Evil will slay the wicked: and those that hate the righteous will be made desolate. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants: and none that trust in Him will be desolate.
