Pulled the generator off at lunch n cleaned everything n fixed a couple broken wires,then motored it (old car mechanic test) and it spun! Tossed it in the car, polarized it(new car techs wont get that either) but still nothing. Cleaned all my contacts at the voltage regulator and hey! We got charging! Pulled off my extra fuel hose to the gas can n hooked it to the tank n filled the tank with a gallon or so and pushed my luck for a maiden voyage. Made it down the block (barely) and died. Should have blown out the fuel line front to back. Oh well another few days and shell be a car again
