Pyoderma Gangrenosum is a rare , but serious skin disease, it is so rare that most Drs do not know how to treat it. Not only does it affect the skin, but the nerves, it causes chronic pain. I5 makes it hard for those who suffer from it to get around. It causes fatigue, but most of the the sufferers cant sleep due to either insomnia, or excruciating pain, or both. Pyoderma gangrenosum is a horrible disease. It is treated by a dermatologist, because the ulcer is on the skin. But the ulcer part is only one of about 10-20(or more) issuses that we sufferers have. But some doctors dont understand. If angered or irritated the wound can get worse. We sufferers not only have trouble doing normal everyday things, but we can no longer do most things we always loved do. Like swimming, taking a relaxing bath, riding roller-coasters, sitting on the floor, running, jumping, I could go on with this post, but I wont. I cried for about an hour last night wondering what I did to deserve this horrible, wretched disease.
