#QLD #Weather #News #Corp Massive hail buckets down on Qld Sunshine Coast Sunshine Coast residents have been pelted with hail the size of tennis balls today as dangerous thunderstorms hit south-east Queensland. This afternoon for thunderstorms near Maroochydore, Noosa Heads, and further south at Caboolture, Logan City and Beenleigh. The bureau warned the storms were very dangerous and people should move their cars under shelter away from trees and secure loose outdoor items. The thunderstorms have now largely moved out over the sea. A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman says the State Emergency Services (SES) has had more than 100 requests for assistance since 1pm (AEST). There have been no reports of injuries so far. Authorities say the worst hit areas have been Maroochydore and Mooloolaba.
