QUESTION FROM TRAVKO; WHAT WILL THE REDS DO NOW this was just asked by Travko....what moves do I think your Reds need to make, who will they go after or will Walt sit and do nothing? Without question this team MUST add some pieces now and not wonder or wait till Phillips and Votto get back. Trouble is not many teams are willing to give up good players so finding that bargain is tough but that said...here is my thought...A second baseman is needed for sure, Santiago and Schumaker are ok but not long term answers....maybe Uggla can get hot for a month or two or maybe a Gordon Beckham from The White Sox...They need a big bat also either a first baseman or LF would be nice...Ty Willingham maybe but Adam Dunn is a long shot and a stretch at best. Id try for Michael Cuddyer but doubt you could get him. Of course pitching is always needed and one look at what they had to bring up in David Holmberg tells you help is needed...
