Question re: foreign language transcripts and translations for court where audio is evidence: I am transcribing and translating a call in which one of the speakers is not speaking his native language. He speaks with a heavy accent and LOTS of grammatical errors of different types. What is the protocol for the translation? Try to preserve the overall type of mistake, or where the speakers intent is clear, translate as you understand his meaning?
