Quick update on Tessa. So after days, of tests and ruling things they believe Tessa has (LCH) Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. Of the things that were on the list, this has a much better prognosis. Were not 100% yet, but one of the leading specialist in the country is on her case and is placing his bet here. The good news is that she only has this one area effected and there was no spread into other organs. So the current course is steroids in the area of the lesion, no chemo and no radiation needed. It will be a long term healing process for her spine and she will need a brace. This has absolutely been the year from HELL medically for us, but there are families much worse off, so I am thankful for my family.
