Quietly attended the new Governors Inaugural .... During the day took fellow Lehigh County residents to the offices of Steve Sammuelson, Danny ONeil who shares his office with Michael Schlossberg but Michael my representative was not there. And neither was Pete Schweyer ... They were out perhaps visiting the Lehigh Democratic Committees suite in the Hiton Hotel Harrisburg... Near the Cafeteria I introduced the same fellow Lehigh County residents to State Senator Lisa Boscola... Then proceeded to gaze upon an empty House of Representative chamber and an empty Senate Chamber ... Both chambers are magnificent with the Senate having more overlay gold but the House beats the Senate with bigger chandeliers and side lighting ... I had hoped to legislate in the House of Representatives starting in late 2006 when a challenged Joe Brennan, Jose Rosado and Tony Rybak for a house seat in 133rd when my area of Allentown was part of that district ... Incidentally I ran into Joe Brennan today in the East Wing of the Capital complex. To cap off the day I went to the Governors mansion ... Just missed the new Governor in a receiving line ... They served Hot Chocolate and cookies to people visiting the mansion ....
