RANT ALERT - why is it that we CANT stand for an injustice towards our race? What is so wrong about being passionate about that? Everyone has passions for different reasons. No one gets upset at ppl who are moved to fight solely for human trafficking. Nope they are applauded and recognized for their views and efforts to eliminate it. Or ppl who fight for and rescue dogs arent being fussed at because they left out the cats and reptiles. Yet you make a stance for racism and ppl (especially some Christians Ive been seeing recently) say its not about that, or you shouldnt fight for the rights of just blacks but for the Human race. Or just give them Jesus. First - Im sorry, but me being human is not what makes me get followed in a store, or looked at funny, or patted down by the police. My color and peoples ignorance in regards to the heritage and appreciation of our culture does. So guess what imma stand for?? And second - sharing Jesus is a given, but guess what? It doesnt stop there. People STILL have to be educated. Discussions STILL need to happen. A stance STILL needs to be taken!!!!! And it doesnt have to all get mixed in one pot. If we dont break it down how do things get accomplished??? You dont have to be passionate about racial injustice, thats fine. But dont deny it, and dont tell me not to be upset and fight to see it change specifically when youre not the one that has to live it. Im just saying.... #thinkaboutit
