RBS have reassured staff that there are no plans to move jobs, so whats changing? The letterheads? Standard Life, much the same. If they did make wholesale moves, what would be the reaction of their customers. How would this affect their business. How would shareholders react. Almost as many unanswered questions as the referendum campaigns. Most retailers are saying they simply dont know what will happen. Even after a meeting at number 10 today. Increased prices are a possibility if there are increased costs. This is common sense. Most retailers will also recognise that increased prices generally means reduced customers leading to reduced profits. This is also common sense. Its simply not an issue. Capitalism dictates that if there is money to be made here, they will come here to make it. As Don Corleone said, business is business :)
