READER QUESTION: My husband and I have been working very hard to get out of debt and save up for a house, until I was put on strict bed rest at 16 weeks pregnant. I am 19 weeks now, and will have to be in bed for the rest of the pregnancy. Our budgeting and thriftiness have definitely taken a hit. My husband has been having to handle all the housework, cooking and shopping... On top of a 50 hour job. There have been nights where we are eating store bought pizzas or TV dinners because he is too exhausted to cook. My high risk doctor is an hour away, and I have to go at least twice a month. That has jacked our gas bill. Fortunately my husband already car pools, so I have the car. The house is a mess, I see maybe one person other than him a week, and Im terrified for my child. Ive lost two already. Ive heard all the lines about how we just need to let things slide and wait it out, but five months of this is going to drive me insane! Do you have any suggestions on how to make this easier financially and emotionally? Has anyone else been through this? -Amber
