REFLECTION: The church today has lost its focus severely. When all it cares about is membership and the numbers, going out recruiting, bringing in new members into a building it is not doing New Testament church. It reminds me so much of a business venture, esp. when one recruits for church membership. Believers already are members to the most exclusive club that no one can give or take away. So when churches complain about their numbers (members) being low which is also business terminology, then they have surely lost its way. Low is great...because once you equip a person, they are now to go into the world and use their God-given ability to preach The Good news of Christ. Sadly again, they still sit in a building day after day, week after week calling it church.
