REMEMBER GOD IS A COVENANT KEEPING GOD About twelve years ago, God continually reminded me of His Covenant, I know they were important to our faith in God, but I did not discovered them yet. Dr. Myles always teach us Nothing is yours until you discovers it. This morning, God is again reminding me of His Covenants. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9 Solomon says: “ O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts 2 Chronicles 6:14 My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips Psalm 89:34 A Covenant is a promise between two or more parties – especially for the performance of some action – by which either of the parties pledges himself to the other. The foundation in which the believers built their faith, is understanding the significance of God’s Covenants. We must always realize that God is, and was, and will always be a Covenant keeping God. from the very beginning, we see God fulfilling His Covenant with mankind; and never allowing His Creations to be destroyed. No matter what our situations is, we can stand on the promises of God. when we know our God, we will know that God’s purpose, promise, and provision for our lives will never fail. We can put our faith, trust and hope, in the Faithfulness of God. Every covenant God made with His people demonstrates God’s Grace and Mercy each time God visit man. Each Covenant with man was progressive in nature; and each covenant was based on the other covenant, because God is a God of Order. From the Eden, Adam, Norah, Abraham, Moses, David, Renewed. All these covenants was symbolic of Jesus Christ (Yeshua in Hebrew) in prophesy; revealing God’s faithfulness and His promises (Restoration, and reconciliation to us) God’s Covenants are progressive in nature, revealing His plans of redemption and Salvation for mankind. each covenant wraps into each other. The newer Covenants do not annul the former Covenants. The newer Covenant is the pinnacle of God’s redemptive plan, ratified in the blood of Jesus Christ (The Messiah) “Yeshua” God made three universal covenant that apply to all mankind, Eden, Adam, Noah. He also made a covenant with Abraham that He would provide Abraham a seed for His inheritance. Genesis 26:5 all nations on the earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees, and my instructions. (Yeshua, Salvation for all nations) God requires that we do more than just say we are in covenant with Him; we must walk in His ways and live according to His commandments. Genesis 12:1-3) This covenant is unconditional, it is when we confess, and Repent. God made a covenant with Moses for the Children of Israel, giving them the Torah God’s Teaching and Instructions on Mount Sinai. This covenant is Conditional; Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people. Exodus 20:3 thou shalt have no other gods before me. God provided freedom for the children of Israel when He broke the stronghold of Pharaoh because they entered into covenant with Him at the time of the Passover. He fed them with manna, gave them water from the rock, defeated the armies of the heathen, led them by the cloud of the Holy Spirit, and finally brought them to the Promised Land. But only those who continued to follow after Him actually entered into the Promised Land. God was faithful to provide, but His people had to be faithful to follow Him too God has integrity, and what He says He will do He will do, but the same is true when God says He will not do something God made a Covenant with David 2 Samuel 7:8-16 Davidic Covenant is the third Covenant God made with Israel; Hebrew 5:5 , Exodus 34:6-7 reigning as a kingdom of priest.(after the Order of Melchizeder) The Last Covenant: The pinnacle of God’s redemptive plan. Radified in the blood of the Messiah …Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a [re]new[ed] covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah… --Jer.31:31 and Hebrew 8:8-9 TODAY WE ARE PRIVILEDGE TO BE PARTAKERS OF THE EVERLASING COVENANT WITH OUR GOD 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God. 29 I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. 30 I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. 31 Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. 32 I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign LORD. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel! 33 “‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. 34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. 35 They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.” 36 Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the LORD have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.’ 37 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Once again I will yield to Israel’s plea and do this for them: I will make their people as numerous as sheep, 38 as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
