REPOST This is deeply concerning certainly. With some controversy already over who in fact has greater influence within the government. Substantial concern to be found again in that the Buddhist Monks in the region who are already felt by some to hold somewhat fundamental views towards the Rohingya Muslim population may be using their influence unduly to further ostracize this population. Whereas Rohingya remain largely segregated there are denied even basic medical treatment and access to services. This is unacceptable and in my opinion the Soft Diplomacv shall not serve any great purpose in resolving this further denial. I, in fact place some considerable thought to this approach having been adopted due to being easier rather than more equitable. The long term implications again in my opinion are extremely negative having permitted the further development of long standing issues to further stagnate. Rohingya are being denied all opportunities to integrate with others due to ingrained historical prejudices and many are fearful of stepping in possibly due to the evolving negative clime towards the Muslim Population overall on the global platform. However this is unjustified and should find immediate resources implemented to address the concerns. The Rohingya must not continue to be Stateless among many other matters of concern and the Ethnic Buddhist Population continuing to dictate to the governing bodies in regard to the development or refusal of such of Rohingya Muslims is unacceptable. Whether Interfaith Dialog or Commitments are required is again something much needing to be further assessed.
