RM Glory beat Guerreros to keep the top spot U14 had a very tough game versus Guerreros, a game which was supposed to be soccer looked like a game of volleyball as the style of play headed towards the worst. The back line had trouble recollecting desperate clearances and in turn caused themselves to be open on the counter attack. RM Glory received a breather when a shot was blocked through a handball which Javier took cooly. Moments later Ricky hit the cross bar but managed to find a goal to take us up by two. Miscommunication and a lack of effort however caused for Tapia to get scored on through a set piece. The frustration kept going as a strange shot bounced in as Tapia misread it as Guerreros tied the game 2-2. The game went back and forth but it was RM Glory getting the spotlight for the constant firefight as they received around 5 yellow cards. Carrying into the second half defensively, RM Glory made no thought to change the fouls in their half, as they scored another set piece goal, blasting the ball from outside the box. The backline without communication continued to give away fouls as the game looked out of grasp. But Navarrete and Pedro managed to find the net to barely manage a 4-3. They were known as the The best defense in the league but out of the last 4 out of 5 games. RM Glory have conceded around 12 goals...too many. We need to work on defending set pieces. MVP of the Match: Ricky Garcia 8 -Ricky made a pretty good effort in front of goal, hitting the crossbar, getting a goal and a weird assist was enough to continue Glorys unbeaten streak. Ricky just needs to change his attitude and be more of a leader and he will be more successful.
