ROCKY MOUNT! (CD posting) We have heard MANY stories about how Rocky Mount used to be back in the day and some in the present day. The times when people could leave there front doors and cars unlocked and never thought of them being broken into. Times when the Douglas block was booming with stores, jobs, people having a good time from out of state, etc. Days when the elderly was considered wise, loved, respected, and rarely put into homes because the kids were too busy to care for them. Times when kids were raised by a neighborhood and taught respect for other people and their property. Where jobs were a dime by the dozen, you could quit one job and find a new job the next day. Yes, that was Rocky Mount, simple people living in simple times, not caring what the rest of the country did, because you treasured family values over greed, corruption, and technology. You were leaders of a country that was heading for self destruction, and didnt even know it because you cared less what the rest of the country did, you just cared for family, and Rocky Mount was your family. I moved here from NY because of what I was told about Rocky Mount, My mother and father is originally from here and I know deep inside, sometimes they wish they would have never left. People who dont know Rocky Mount say they are far behind the times. Personally, you have chosen NOT to adopt the things that would destroy your simple ways of life, AND IT WORKED! Eventually, people from outside NC came here and started changing your way of life. Greed took over your textile industry, burglaries and robbery took your innocence, so many murders have taken your gift of loving and trusting everyone, the elderly has to choose between paying for heat or medicine, splitting their pills because of the cost. I know whats coming because I have been there! Out of 1000 people who come here, you only have 5 who are good. I designed The Observers so you can bring back those times of great strength and serenity. I am here to help you take back your city from corrupt officials and individuals who prey on your good will that has been passed down from your parents and their parents. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that we cant make this happen, AS A FAMILY. All I ask is that you trust the Observers, stand by our side, and I PROMISE, you will see a change within 1 year! This system is designed to bring good citizens together and vote these money grubbers out of office, to take back our streets, stores, LIFE. What do I need from you? NO MONEY, I need your commitment and time. I need you to take that first step in helping me, help you. Become an Observer, you will not be alone. Once you take that step, you will be surrounded by people who have the same agenda as you, SAVING OUR CITY. Lets do this together, because without you, this last stand fails!
