RS CONVERSATIONS WITH SRI SRI THAKUR: PRATUL-DIPTI BY SRI PRAFULLA KR. DAS, SUNDAY, DEC. 22 1946, PART 1: IT IMPLIES THAT FOR THE SATISFACTION OF MY IGNOBLE INFERIORITY I AM READY TO FORSAKE MY ALLEGIANCE TO THE IDEAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL INTEGRATION IN AN INSTANT. THIS IS THE INDICATION OF A VERY DEPRAVED CHARACTER. One ashramite complained against another that in order to satisfy his own grudge he had gotten a Satsangi insulted by an outsider. Sri Sri Thakur became very sad to hear it. Then He said, If it has happened like this, it is very vile indeed. We may fight with each other, but after a few minutes if we can eat some sweets together, it may be presumed that it is a healthy quarrel. We have many loopholes, vanities and weaknesses. We may also be obsessed by passions and due to that there may be mutual conflict. But in such an event if we invite outsiders to oppress our own brother, it is nothing but a kind of treachery. It implies that for the satisfaction of my ignoble inferiority I am ready to forsake my allegiance to the Ideal and organizational integration in an instant. This is the indication of a very depraved character. Such a man can endanger the country, nation, Dharma, culture, public interest , etc., for the vindication of his own morbid ego. It is proper to be vigilant about such a person, however much he may be qualified…The other day two Sikhs came. They were saying that at the time of a mutual fight between two Sikhs, if any Pathan came up to help one of them they immediately stopped their fight and resisted him. It means that they do not want that any Pathan should take advantage of their dissension. Can there be any doubt about the fact that Dharma is to some extent alive in them. Who can immediately control their excited passions for the sake of maintaining integration?
