Rabbi Lindsey is back with us this week. Join us (4/12) for services and the following Oneg at 7:30 PM. There will be a special guest, so dont miss him/her! Saturday (4/13) morning at 10 AM, the Torah Study group will take up this weeks parashah, Acharei Mot (by the way, this also is Shabbat haGadol, the great & last Shabbat before Passover). In this portion, Adonai speaks to Moses after the death of Aarons two sons, Nadav & Abihu, slain in portion Shemini, for coming too close to the presence of God. God instructs Moses and Aaron the procedures surrounding Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. There is much more, so dont miss the reading the scintillating discussion, coffee, tea, and the Oneg leftovers. Saturday evening at 7:30 PM, comedy fills the sanctuary as we have a night of laughs with Michael Ziggy Danziger, rabbinical student and reigning Funniest Jew in the Deep South. Its also amusing that he is the husband of our great Student Rabbi, Lindsey Rothschild Danziger. Join us for the show and the desserts afterwards, and go home happier and less burdened than when you arrived. The Religious School convenes on Sunday (4/14) at 9:30 AM. The end of the year party is coming up, so make sure you study hardy to make the party more sweet! See you in temple!
