Racism on the Internet (Cyber-Racism) UTS Cosmopolitan Civil Societies Research Centre invite you to join doctoral assessment at CCS this week. Racism on the Internet (Cyber-Racism) is a rapidly growing issue in Australia. Perpetrators use social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to spread racism causing significant social stress to people who are the targets of this racism, as well as undermining community cohesion. The Australian Research Council funded the cross university and cross discipline Cyber-Racism and Community Resilience (CRaCR) project to investigate and develop social media responses that address cyber-racism.
