Reading the updates about the passing of Truett Cathy has me thinking a lot this morning (on two hours of jet lagged sleep, mind you). Everyone knows about the controversial chick-fil-a/gay war, but today a family is waking up without its patriarch. Now, I definitely dont agree with some of the financial choices made by the company Mr. Cathy founded, but at the end of the day, CFA is a strong American company that does a lot of good. The God I know and love is probably sitting with Mr. Cathy now looking down on a grieving family and telling him, Good job, son. Theyll be ok. I dont agree with everything thats happened, but I do know Mr. Truett Cathy sure seemed like a good man who led a great life...some of the other is all in the details. When we all die, we deserve to be remembered for the great and honorable things we have done...and I believe this man has done many! Rest in peace, sir.
