RealView Imaging Is Hiring!| Electro-Optics Physicist/Engineer A growing and dynamic start-up company, introducing a revolutionary electro-optical 3D medical imaging solution, is looking for an excellent Electro-Optics Physicist/Engineer: Job description: A Physicist/engineer capable of performing a study, design, assembly of an optical setup, optical measurements and analyze them - all in an independent fashion. As an integral part of the R&D core team, participate and contribute to the design of the system(s), thus must be capable of understanding the challenges of system(s) as a whole. Key tasks: • Design and assemble electro-optical and other characterization setups. • Perform electro–optical device/component characterization and data analysis. • Perform general optical measurements. • Participate in brainstorming session for system and testing methods. • Be part of the R&D core team. • Performing in-depth study of literature and available data for selected topics mainly related to electro-optics. Minimum Qualifications: • BSc / MSc with actual hands-on experience in optical lab work. • Independent professional with the ability to design a setup and build it, including ordering components (optical and mechanical). • At least basic theoretical and practical knowledge in linear optics. • Data processing and analysis experience. • MATLAB knowledge and capabilities. • Lab experience: Academic/Industrial. • At least basic experience with using lasers. Desired Qualifications: • Actual experience with Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) – big advantage. • SLM theoretical knowledge – advantage. • Algorithmic experience – advantage. • Experience in medical imaging/device industry. • Experience with multi-disciplinary systems development.
