Recent news has indicated that BC Hydro rates are facing a massive increase, up to 26% over the next two years. A potential solution to lessen potential rate increases is to let BC Hydro run independently and prevent the BC Liberals from siphoning billions of dollars. In other words, the BC Liberals should take responsibility for their own budget deficit, and allow BC Hydro to balance its own budget first.
