Recently 15,000 Bq/kg was measured from the mud of street gutter. It was in Ibaraki. The situation never get better. I don’t expect politics for nothing. I know this is not the most popular perspective. Everyone wants to think they can still do something to change the country. If it was simply a racial or social problem, I might still keep hope. However, this is a physical matter. Whoever becomes Prime Minister, he or she cannot wipe off the scattered radiation. My purpose is not to rebel against anything. Not even to become famous. I just want to do what must be done. Probably most of my Japanese readers already know they can have better quality of life abroad. The bottle neck is job. Nobody wants to abandon their career. Job is not only to make money. They can feel like they are needed by the society through the job. I’m not god, I cannot prepare all kinds of the jobs that they want. However, Fukushima Diary corporation is accepting Japanese people for translator and the business connection with Japan. This way they can have business visa as well. I don’t know how it goes but I hope them to know the door is always open. Also, it’s meaningless to move to a highly radioactive place after Japan. I’ve always determined where is safe from the average life span or medical statistics because atmospheric dose doesn’t really matter (internal exposure is more important). However, measuring atmospheric dose can be an indicator actually. It also helps me know the soil contamination, which causes internal exposure too. I need to conduct radiation survey myself too. Now I’m saving daily expenses to purchase one. However, if someone has an extra geiger counter that they don’t use anymore, I’d be extremely happy. I would cover the shipping cost. I don’t beat around the bush. I want to do what really matters.
