Recently many involved in the difficult path out of the present - TopicsExpress

Recently many involved in the difficult path out of the present morass in Thailand have asked what is it they can really do to resolve differences, reach common understandings and respect for different views, etc. It is absolutely essential that the people do this. Mark Levin, a well-published conservative in America, said it on his talk show - You keep asking what you can do. I have been telling you, and I have been doing what I can do myself, that the issue is that you - you - have to do something. In this Thai context, part of the problem is that the political thought platform, composed of many separate planks, has not yet been built, and few seem to want it or even recognize any need for one. To them, unity, Thainess, loyalty, Thainess... are ends in themselves. They either refuse or honesty are deaf, dumb and blind to the havoc they impose on free will, and thus others, in their search for Thainess/sameness. A good portion of Thai people today have justly decided they have had it. Lacking is the developed talent and mechanisms to not just put change in place, but to define change, to implement change, to maintain change and to accept change. Everyone is still Thai, and if those with ignorant ideas and loud mouths would just shut up and give their own religious beliefs the chance to show them that the way out is to open up their minds instead of closing gates of opportunity, Thailand will move forward.
