Reflecting on Lilly: This page has become a place to come together to share media (some directly from Lilly’s house), news stories and petitions, and express support and encouragement for Lilly. There’s even some posts of children’s artwork We’ve banded together to advocate for Lilly the Deer and her family. Many have been ‘activists’ on behalf of Lilly and contacted governments officials and departments with the simple request to listen to the public – to leave Lilly where she is. The page is only one week old and has amassed almost 10,000 supporters. We’ve come together to petition for Lilly – or really, on behalf of what many would consider to be common sense. So much love and support has come from all around the world! We know Lilly appreciates it. She’s even seen our page!!! I call it ‘our page’ because it was setup to support an idea – that an animal spared from death and raised by loving humans should not be ripped away from the only life it has known. Lilly has never hurt anyone, yet some seem so determined to cause distress and pain to Lilly and her family. #SaveLilly Thank you. The video below is the inspiration for this page.
