Reflections on a glorious day: Today, service at Birchman - TopicsExpress

Reflections on a glorious day: Today, service at Birchman Baptist was a reminder of the goodness of God. His plan included royalty and poverty. Kings and servants. He even threw me in just to prove His sense of humor. In Bible study, as we travel the book of Acts, we came to chapter 4 and the writer, Luke, introduces his reader to a man named Joseph. He is never called that again b/c he receives a nickname from the apostles. From here on he is called Barnabas, son of encouragement. I am thankful for the many men that have encouraged me for 34 years in my walk with the Lord. Thank you Grady White, Miles Seaborn, Kirk Hill, Stan Feener, Larry Collier, George Farris, Don Ulsh, David Ferguson, and Gary Ferguson. The writer of Proverbs states in 27:17; Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Thank you gentlemen and the many more that have sharpened me through the years. Who has been Barnabas in your life?
