For the next several days we will spotlight each of our team members Todays spotlight Sue Pellant Moore South Fayette Twp, PA (Pittsburgh) Communications Coordinator - My duties entail distributing information from International and maintaining internal communication channels among the region, chapters and individual members. Mostly that includes responsibility for the regional website, the regional directory, leadership database, email lists and maintaining a complete record of regional activities and meetings. In consultation with the RMT, I also prepare the end of the year reports and evaluations we send to International every year. I also appoint staff to help with all of this ;-) I started serving on the RMT toward the end of July, so mostly it has been fun getting introduced to people within the region and at International headquarters. We are an organization with an abundance of talent! I am an oboist who started playing professionally as a teen and continues to perform in various ensembles. My husband, Rich, plays Irish fiddle and we play in a few bands together (where I mostly play Irish whistle but do sneak the oboe in occasionally). Our son Bennett is starting 7th grade this year and has played the cello since he was 4. We have an Amazon parrot named Charlie and two cats – a 15 year old tabby named Linus and a young kitten named You Little Dickens. It isn’t quiet at our house.
