No formal qualification is necessary. Some experience would be an advantage. An outgoing person with a good ear|taste in House music. Outstanding communication skills and a good command of the business language. An ability to multitask & work outside normal working hours. A creative mind willing to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. Typical work activities may include: +managing & updating the brands digital pages (facebook, twitter, soundcloud, mixcloud, linkedIn, traxsourse, iTunes, beatport, etc) +liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations; +communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships; +sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the campaign; +managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, clothing material, newsletters, e- newsletters and CDs, and digital material; +writing and proofreading copy; +liaising with designers and printers; organising photo shoots; +arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials; +maintaining and updating customer databases; organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions; +sourcing and securing sponsorship; conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups; +contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies; +managing budgets; +evaluating marketing campaigns; +supporting the brand manager and other colleagues.
