Relieved we got all our hay in yesterday as it has been raining here since lunchtime. Not complaining about the rain though as we needed some, is awfully cold outside though. Have just been to collect the eggs and yes, the hens are already starting to lay their eggs amongst the large bales stored in the calf sheds. Cheeky little sods!! Still have sick calves, 2 in a bad way. Got the vet around today and they have a B1 deficiency so now we are treating them correctly I hope they recover. One of the symptoms is temporary blindness. Im such a dork that I didnt pick up on that. Thought it was odd that I could get right up close and pat them on the face, but also took it as they were too sick to move. But no, couldnt actually see me!!
