It hammered not only the immutability of biological sphere, but also the static idea in the field of social sciences. FREDRICK ENGELS (Great leader, teacher of the world proletariat) in his article on Feuerbach referred three discoveries. The first was the proof of the transformation of energy arising out of the discovery of the mechanical equivalent of hear (by Robert Mayer, Joule and Colding)... The second discovery earlier in point of time- was that of the organic cell by Schwan and Schleiden, as being the unit out of which, by its multiplication and differentiation, all organisms, which the exception of the lowest are formed and develop.... The third great discovery is the theory of evolution...by Darwin. ENGELS wrote: By means of these three great discoveries, the main process of nature were explained and referred to natural causes. ......
