Remember last Thursday night’s post which included the poor lady in the UK whose horse had been out on a field full of clover and who nearly ended up under a bus (not to mention being fired over a fence into a ditch!), Well after a week in the stable off that pasture – an incredible transformation! After 5 days: Just to let you know I was able to ride my boy this morning! Straight out his stable from being stuck in for five days. He was as quiet as a lamb! Still not 100 percent but it was as if he was expecting it to be sore when I asked for canter but he did canter for me and worked beautifully in trot carrying himself in a lovely outline and bending in the corners! Woo hoo! His manure was always like cow pat too before I took him off the grass and he was literally pooing every two seconds when stabled. This week I have only had to muck out once!!!! He is normally filthy. I am going to ride him again today and I am still going to have the osteopath out on Tuesday just to eliminate everything, plus I need my saddle checking anyway. People on the yard thought I was crazy but I sent them all your link and because they have seen such a difference in my horse themselves since I brought him in last week they are now believing your theory Another 2 days on: Omg Jenny!! Ive just ridden him in an open field after almost two weeks off and being left in stable for a week! He was as good as gold! He was amazing!!! Thrilled. And.... You will never even believe this... Ive just boxed him in not one, but two horse trailers that were unfamiliar to him! He literally was running up one back out and running up the other!!!! This is amazing for my horse. I battle all the time to load him in m own trailer and he wouldnt even think of putting a foot in anyone elses never mind running up and down them both. I am amazed. Sat here actually in shock! And after another couple of days: Hi Jenny, Ive just had the osteopath out and basically he couldnt find anything wrong with my horse! He said he was a little tight on his back right hip and the left part of his neck but that was probably down to when I did the emergency stop on him two weeks ago. He is so settled again now and so much more relaxed I even managed to walk him right beside the farmers big yellow tractor today and its very loud. He didnt even flinch! I told the osteopath about your page and he is going to read up on it. So so glad I found your page! Xxx please feel free to share everything I have sent you. Pics are of the grass he was on..check out the clover content!
