Remembering my first radio gig at KIND AM/FM back in the early - TopicsExpress

Remembering my first radio gig at KIND AM/FM back in the early late 70ss when Nelson Ruppard had allowed the station to go Top 40 for a while. I sold the spots, our morning on air was, Lady Diana, afternoons was Prince Charlie, Dave West in the evenings, and Ryburn on the Radio on weekends. The station was simulcast and we had no stereo FM, Nelson filled the noon hour with news, weather, and obits. Spots were selling for $5 for 30 seconds, and it was easy to sellout of inventory weekly, we would produce and cut new spots on Wednesday evening for the following week while we broadcast the Larry King Show from the Mutual Radio Network and broadcast Mutual programming from 11p until 6a. Big changes in broadcasting and rates since then.
