Report on the fair--gorgeous weather. But everyone wanted a turkey leg--chicken, though it looked good, walked past it. Where else can you get a Mesquite charcoal roasted turkey leg?! As posted below--knitting by a probable lace master knitter. Every single yarn over just perfect--amazingly consistent tension. She also knit a sampler afghan on small needles, with pure perfection. Both won a Sweepstakes purple ribbon. (The other knitting was rather ho hum--especially the socks.) LOTS of beautiful quilts and a lot of crochet. The quantity of knitting comes in a distant third. And lots of people--it was the last day. A very diverse crowd. Lots of fun!
