Republicans, Democrats and yes President Obama If the people who authorized this nation to engage in TORTURE in direct violation of the Geneva Convention are not PUNISHED...the worst is yet to come. The release of these documents will have a profound affect on how the world views what WAS the only light in a dark world. Yes the Arab world will be up in arms...literally. Yes the terror threat will grow exponentially. Not because the world is full of people who would like to hurt us, but because they will SEE that when it comes to all that we preach...we are a nation of hypocrits. They will SEE that for all our bluster about Democracy and the rule of law...we are a do as I say and not as I do nations of liars. We go all around the world meddling in the affairs of other sovereign nations, claiming to be civilized. Yet this report shows that we are as barbaric as any ISIS member...and that we as a nation...condone it. On the other hand, if we do PUNISH the people who invented this program after the CIA itself said in 1989, Torture yields no usable information. The WORLD will see that we are a nation of laws and NO ONE is exempt!!! If we dont we will have no one to blame but ourselves and GOD help us because there are already people in this nation who have been recruited by ISIS. Now there will be more because our system of injustice for everyone else and excuses for the horrible things we do to others, will be Al-Qieda and ISIS strongest recruitment tool. Convince your enemy that he is wrong. To win a bloodless battle the victory is long. Killing people just makes people want to kill you.
