Rest in Peace, Mikhail Uspensky. One of my absolutely favorite modern fantasy writers from Russia has passed December 13, 2014. Mikhail Uspensky is well known as the creator of Seven Talks in Atlantis, A Place Without Us, An Old Times and Who Should We Send to Find Death. As far as I know, his works werent translated to many languages, but you can call him Russian Terry Pratchett thanks to how his works werent only fun, they were also deep and even though his main genre was comic fantasy, his target audience was educated people and those were the only people to understand the true meaning of his works. Rest in Peace, Mikhail Uspensky, well sure miss you...
