Rev. Dr. John Harnish is our guest preacher on Sunday, October 20. Here is his biography: The Rev. Dr. John E. Harnish recently retired from United Methodist Church of Birmingham. He was ordained in the Western Pennsylvania Conference and has served churches there as well as in the Detroit Conference, including Ann Arbor First, Flint Court Street and Dexter. For seven years he was the Associate General Secretary for the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry in Nashville, TN. While there he worked with programs of clergy training around the world including 12 years on the Board of Trustees for the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary in Tallinn, Estonia. He is currently a Trustee at Adrian College. Jack’s wife, Judy, was an elementary school principal and served for 6 years on the staff of Cass Community Social Services. Jack and Judy have two grown sons and three grandchildren. They now make their home on Platte Lake in Northern Michigan. Sermon title: Can These Bones Live?
