Rev. Jennifer Lynn Dalton will present “Unitarian Universalist - TopicsExpress

Rev. Jennifer Lynn Dalton will present “Unitarian Universalist evangelism” and explain that Unitarian Universalist evangelism is not a contradiction in terms. People form community, sharing their spirituality that inspires them to lead better lives. What they should NOT do is live WITHOUT community because the doors that are open do not reflect their beliefs or their life experiences. We have a responsibility to share our good news and create a larger presence in the world. After the service, Rev. Dalton will join us for a cold potluck luncheon and will lead a workshop on developing our “elevator speeches.” Rev. Jennifer L. Dalton spiritually, she was raised Mormon and Southern Baptist. She spent four years as an aircraft technician in the USAF before completing her bachelor’s degree in political science and, many years later, her Masters of Divinity from Emory’s Candler School of Theology. She is currently ordained and recognized by the Alliance of Baptists and considers herself a Unitarian Universalist Baptist. She has been married for 15 years, is raising three daughters, ages 18, 13 and 11 and they all live with 2 dogs, 4 cats, and a rat named Buddha. Rev. Dalton is currently working at Atlanta Medical Center as a chaplain resident.
